Chicken Curry Rice

Here is another family favorite of ours. In fact, this has been a favorite of mine since I was a child. It is a really easy recipe to put together and make and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup rice-uncooked
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp curry
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (chopped or shredded)
  • 2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 2 cups of Chicken Broth
  • ¼ cup butter/margarine

Directions

Preheat oven to 350

Saute onion and celery in butter until onion becomes translucent

Combine all ingredients in a bowl

Place in a greased casserole dish

Cover and Bake for 1 hour

After 1 hour, stir

Bake an additional hour

Serves 6
